Den of Dragons (Crimson Author Anthologies Book 1)
My short story “A New Home for Lulu” can be found in the Crimson Anthology Den of Dragons. The money from sales goes to charity.
This story is a prequel to a middle-grade fantasy trilogy that I am currently editing. Lulu is a small, timid creature who is more than just a dragon. In “A New Home for Lulu,” she has to decide if she is strong enough to escape her old life. In the trilogy, she has to choose between staying in her new home and seeking true friendship and security.
Lulu was created by my good friend, Lily Muller. She drew me three characters and asked me to write a story using them. Lulu spoke to me, and her story emerged. She is braver than she thinks she is and kinder than most creatures that live in the woods.
